Introduction

We are excited to start this process of blogging!  Here is a little bit about us:  We are a 2nd grade class in Waxhaw, NC at Newtown Elementary.  On our second grade team, we have a visiting teacher from New Zealand.  We are especially excited because she is of Samoan descent and that is the country we are studying in our room!

We have learned that the capital of Samoa is Apia and that the square area of Samoa equals that of the state of Rhode Island.  We look forward to telling you more about Samoa in the future.
